We’re fans of the team at Mad Robot Comics, with their unique take on modern horror with books like Cadavers and Murder Most Mundane. The latest book from the creators behind that last book is The Hanged Man, which is now funding on Kickstarter and sees a murder in a small village set a series of sinister events in motion.

As well as the usual mix of creepy horror and dark gothic undertones, this new book from writer Ash Deadman and Clark Bint is told as a panoramic story, with each panel comprising a single page which can then be extended out to create a long form scroll style image. It’s a fantastic concept and one which looks ideally suited to this slice of gothic drama – and with the campaign ending on Halloween there’s not long to get supporting it!
