Madefire for Android now on Google Play Store, plus print books, Milk For The Ugly and more!
Madefire the cutting edge motion book publisher have announced announcement of a new Android version of their market leading motion book platform. Madefire for Android and features the same fantastic mix of original characters like Captain Stone, Mono and Treatment as well as their licensed titles from IDW Publishing, Dark Horse Comics, DC Comics and more.

After releasing a Beta in February Madefire are finally unleashing their full Motion Book Tool to the world via their website and on deviantART. Claiming “Anyone with a creative spark and an Internet connection [can] get online and share their story with the world.” Simply upload static PDF’s or ‘get nasty with some Motion Book madness’ and you can add sound, motion and depth to your story. One recent success story are @Vesner and @Akreon whose Milk For The Ugly motion book debuted on the main Madefire platform this month after some amazing success on deviantART Clocking up almost 500,000 read, over 13,000 favourites and over 3,000 comments, this truly is a sign that motion books are making waves in the world of digital comics. Another exciting addition to the Madefire platform this month is… print?! Don’t worry they haven’t gone completely mad, what this actually means is that your favourite IDW, Valiant, Liquid, Oni Press titles can now be purchased day-and-date via the Madefire app and be right there for you within the Madefire ecosystem. Could this be another dent in the armour of ComiXology?
