Liam Sharp gives us an exclusive look at Madefire’s new Captain Stone Is Missing #7
When they’re not bringing us some of the most ground-breaking digital comics around like Batman: Arkham Origins, or converting some of the comics world’s biggest names like Batman, Superman and Hellboy into motion books, Liam Sharp and the Madefire team find time to create some of the most innovative digital comics around. Hot on the heels of these fantastic licensed titles Sharp return to his own creation, the Digital Comic of the Year 2012, and Madefire Original, Captain Stone Is Missing #7, for a fantastic new episode coming soon in 2014 and we were lucky enough to be given a first look with some comments from Liam himself!
“So yes – there’s a new Cap out soon, which ends book 1.” Madefire CCO and Captain Stone Is Missing creator Liam Sharp tells us. “It has a cover by the great Stanley Lau, and the chapter is called ‘Brother Sun and Sister Moon’. It’s a fairly intense end to the first story arc, and I can promise you – after this the story is set to go in an entirely different direction to what might be expected…”
And what can we expect from the Cap once these next instalment is done? Will we be seeing more of him and what about the other characters? “I’ve finished the art for the first chapter of Book 2 now also, and we’ll be seeing a lot more action, and a lot less exposition after that! Charlie finally gets off the phone and underway with her search for Captain Stone – and what she finds is impossible, epic, and also pretty terrifying…”
Captain Stone Is Missing will be available via the Madefire app for iPad and iPhone as well as via the Madefire page on DeviantART
