With the new year comes a new raft of Kickstarters from some of our favourite creators, and this week’s pick is one of the best, as the wonderful Steve Tanner is back with a new volume of his 18th century adventure anthology Flintlock.

Featuring the ongoing adventures of highway-woman Lady Flintlock and the awesome Shanti Pirate Queen, Flintlock has a real classic vibe to it, as well as having strong female protagonists at the core of the book which is a real plus. For book three Steve is also introducing two new characters into this extended 64 page bumper issue as we see the debuts of Onna (a blind geisha) and Molly and The Trickster Thief (about a pair of con artists in 18th century London.

Steve has already hit his modest target but be sure to keep backing this great project in order to unlock some of the superb stretch goals, including prints from Pipedream favourites like Sarah Milman.
