Charles is a private eye, but not just any PI – he’s a robot, and so thanks to his machine logic he struggles to comprehend the emotional complexities of the crimes of passion he is required to solve. Plus, like any good PI he does this while drinking and smoking – not because he enjoys, just because that’s what PIs do!  This is the awesome central premise of this week’s Kickstarter Of The Week – PI Charles from The Kill Screen’s Joshua Sherwell. The mix of classic crime noir with a sci-fi twist has really piqued our interest and should make this collection of 5 short stories an essential read.
