Although we can’t claim to be experts on all things Manga here at Pipedream Comics, one common theme that continues to bleed from that medium is the idea of Kaiju (giant monsters). The latest big beast battles appear in We Ride Titans #1, the new Vault Comics’ series from Sebastian Piriz, Dee Cunniffe, Jim Campbell and Tres Dean about a family who run the giant robot defending a city from monsters.
Inspector Harker, the copper with the heart of granite, has been around for over a decade but the recent collections from Time Bomb Comics have given Roger Gibson and Vincent Danks’ hard-boiled hero a new lease of life. The Black Hound sees Harker, DS Critchley and acid-tonged pathologist Griffen in Dracula’s old stomping ground of Whitby.
