It’s been another amazing year for digital comics with our shortlist for Digital Comic of the year featuring cutting edge motion books, avant grade webcomics and crowd-funding sensations, all of which push the boundaries of the medium of digital comics.
But with a landslide of a victory, we are proud to announce that the winner of the Digital Comic of the Year 2016 is…
Spectrum
Written by PJ Haarsma and Alan Tudyk with art by Sarah Stone, and published by Con Man Comics and released as a motion book by Madefire.
“With a truly all conquering victory, this makes it an incredible 3/5 wins for Madefire!” Pipedream Comics editor Alex Thomas said, when the result was revealed.
“Spectrum follows in the footsteps of Captain Stone Is Missing and Mono: Pacific! as a winer of the prize and Madefire truly capture the innovative spirit and cutting edge story-telling that we wanted to celebrate with this award. After all it it is a motion book of a comic published within a web series, put out by an online TV channel launched out of a Comic Convention! It couldn’t be any more digital if it tried?!”

The shuttles, which began operating in 2007, were targeted in early

Microsoft also announced its intention to contain most its future growth
within Redmond, while retaining some offices in Downtown Bellevue and Factoria.
The campus was originally leased to Microsoft from the Teachers Insurance
and Annuity Association, a pension fund manager, until it was bought back in 1992.
Microsoft chose to move its headquarters from Bellevue to nearby Redmond in January 1985,
selecting a 29-acre (12 ha) plot of land that would be developed by Wright Runstad & Company.
Microsoft initially moved onto the grounds of the campus on February 26, 1986, weeks before the company went
public on March 13.
