About us
Hello and welcome to Pipedream Comics – the Ultimate Guide to the World of Digital Comics. We aim to give you the best coverage of the newest digital comics and apps for the iPad very week.
We’ll preview the best new titles from the world’s greatest digital publishers as well as feature exclusive interviews with the comics world’s biggest names, as well as new and exciting innovators who are pushing the boundaries of what makes a digital comic. We’ll also recommend the best new titles for you to check out every week with our fantastic regular features The Pipedream Pull List and Sunday Digest
The Pipedream Pull List
Every week we’ll bring you reviews of the newest and best digital comics with the Pipedream Pull List. We can’t review every new title every week and so this will be our way of telling you about the best and most exciting new digital comics that week. To help you decide if it’s worth your money we’ll give it a score out of 5 and here’s a breakdown of what they mean…
The best of the best: Superb script and stunning artwork but will also break new ground in the world of digital comics and give the reader something totally unique.
A must read: Contains great artwork and a cool story and will definitely be worth the money but it may just lack that extra something special to make it truly ground-breaking.
Give it a try: This may not be to everyone’s taste but is still a recommendation to read. There’s enough good stuff in there that you will get your money’s worth but may be a risky choice.
Give it a miss: The kind of book only the creator will love. Poor artwork, a dull story and a lack of innovation means we can’t recommend you to read this one with a good conscience.
Don’t waste your money: We always try and find the positives in any book, but if we are scoring this low then you know it is bad and you should save your hard-earned cash for another day!
The Sunday Digest
Every weekend we love to sit down and read through the best new comics that came out that week as well as some classic books from our archives and we want to share that with you. The Sunday Digest will feature mini-reviews of any books that didn’t quite make the Pull List that week but that are still worth a read, and we also might include the odd non-digital title and collection in here as well.
Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook and tell us about the titles you’re reading that week and also follow us on Twitter @pipedreamcomics.

Hi Alex,
If you’re interested in another approach to the comic book panel-remixer-genre than the one in “Framed”, you could check out our game comic “Strip ém all”. It is web-based, though, no ipad-version as of now. Drop me a mail if you want to know more!
Regards,
Ola
