kickstarter_of_the_weekDue to a technical error, TPub have restarted their Kickstarter for webcomic Theatrics, so we’re going to reboot our recommendation of it as well!

If you’ve read our review of TPub’s welcome Theatrics, then you’ll know we were rather big fans of it. And so it’s pretty much a no-brainer to see that the Kickstarter for the collected print edition is our pick of the week. In case you missed that review, well shame on you, but Theatrics is the tale of a Broadway star in the 1920s who gets mugged and disfigured and subsequently carves out a career as a prize fighting mad Count. From the brain of Twisted Dark maestro Neil Gibson and with stunning art from Leonardo Gonzalez, Jan Wijngaard and Jim Campbell it is a star turn of a comic! If this printed edition is half as good as the webcomic and a quarter as good as their last collection Turncoat, then Theatrics going to be a knockout read, so back it via the Kickstarter here and if you need some more persuading then watch the stunning pledge video below…

theatrics-cover-01-cropTreading the boards via TPub (home of Tortured Life, Twisted Dark and Turncoat), writer Neil Gibson is taking a bow with Theatrics webcomic, about an actor who uses his talent to reinvent himself after a life changing attack. But will Theatrics belong on the stage with TPub’s other fantastic titles, or will it be in need of an early curtain close?
