Our indie round-up takes a turn for the horrific this week: with sinister tentacled loch monsters from Wart’s Chris Welsh in Ness; gruesome body hour in Hellhound Media’s The Disease; and an anthology of Ghastly Tales from Margeuriette Bennet and Broken Frontier.
If you like your comics to give you nightmares then you need to back Hellbound Media’s new one-shot The Disease. Based on a classic short story and featuring stunning digitally painted artwork from Pawel Kardis, The Disease is set to be a stomach churning shocker of a book. You can find out more by watching their gruesome pledge video below and you can back them here.
James Mulholland’s utterly wonderful webcomic Proud was recently included in our list of the Best Digital Comics of 2014. Well James is about to make a move into a completely different genre with his new indie zombie comic The Disease. With so many other undead tales on the market thanks to The Walking Dead, we got in touch with James to find out why his zombie tale is different from the rest of the horde.
