The nominations for this year’s Eisner Awards 2015 have been announced and it is another strong showing for the world of digital comics. Paul Tobin and Collette Coover’s Bandette received nominations for best continuing series, as well as featuring in the Best Digital/Web Comic category (which they won in 2013), while Brian K Vaughan’s ‘other book’ The Private Eye, which he writes with Marcos Martin for their Panel Syndicate publishing venture is up for best limited series as well as best digital/web comic.

Other nominees include Dax Tran-Caffee’s ground-breaking web comic Failing Sky (read our interview with Dax here) with also made our Digital Comic of the Year 2014 shortlist, and The Last Mechanical Monster (read our interview with Brian Fies here) which were both featured on last year’s list, as well as the utterly charming Nimona by Noelle Stevenson
