Congratulations to Alan & Leah Moore and the team at Electricomics, for winning the best digital comic app 2015, as voted for by the readers of Pipedream Comics.
“Electricomics is a deserving winner of the fantastic award” said Pipedream Comics‘ editor Alex Thomas. “With it’s innovative launch titles, from huge names like Alan Moore and Garth Ennis it was always going to be a tough act to beat. However it is more than just a few fancy comics, it’s open source ideals is bringing genuinely fresh and exciting new ideas to the world of digital comics and we cannot wait to see what amazing innovations and fantastic new comics they come up with in 2016”.
“We are so happy to win Digital Comic App of the Year!” Electricomics Leah Moore told us. “Everybody at Ocasta and Orphans of the Storm has been working so hard on this, trying to get it all completed in line with the funding milestones, and fulfilling everything we set out in our bid, and I think we may have underestimated what an exciting project this would be once it was released! In the three months since it went live, we have been delighted by the quality of the comics people are making using our Generator, and by how positively the app has been received by the readers. This is a fantastic way to start the year, and hopefully 2016 has more in store for Electricomics.”
