Following in the footsteps of Edison Rex, Amelia Cole and Artful Daggers, the latest hit digital series from MonkeyBrain Comics to be released in good old fashioned print is one of our absolute favourites – Gregg Taylor’s pulp inspired adventure Mask of the Red Panda – which is set to hit the newsstands courtesy of IDW Publishing

To celebrate their first year we thought we’d do a quick rundown of 10 favourite MonkeyBrain Comics. They’re all available via ComiXology so why not give them a try and let us know what you think on our Facebook page.

Gregg Taylor Mask of the Red PandaThis weeks sees the arrival of the second issue of the fantastic Mask of the Red Panda from the folks at MonkeyBrain Comics. With it’s brilliant mix of 1930s adventure serial mixed with a brilliant supernatural/ magical under current we raved about the first issue and so couldn’t wait for this latest installment of the adventures of August Fenwick and his sidekick Kit Baxter (aka the Flying Squirrel!). To get the inside scoop on the world of the Panda we contacted  writer Gregg Taylor to find out just what the secret is to writing the perfect pulp adventure series.

It’s another big week for MonkeyBrain Comics this week, with a new issue of the excellent High Crimes and another new series in the form of the brilliantly titled Mask of the Red Panda by Gregg Taylor and Dean Kotz.
