Back after an 18 month hiatus, Leamington Comic Con returned to the UK convention calendar with a new venue and a line up promising, comics, cosplay and plenty of fun for all the family. Having finally recovered from last week’s MCM Birmingham, our roving reporter Olly MacNamee broke out his press pass to give us all the news from this year’s event.

This weekend saw the return of Leamington Comic Con 2015 with a new venue, more activities and a stellar line up of guests headlined by Aces Weekly’s David Lloyd, but was this enough to make this small show into a big deal?
This October, Leamington Comic Convention 2015 returns to the Warwickshire Spa town with a great line-up featuring big names like David Lloyd and Simon Furman, and a new larger venue. After the huge success of it’s debut year in 2014, we caught up with founder Dan Mallier to find out how he’s been spending the last 12 months and what we can look forward to at this year’s event.
After last year’s awesome debut, Leamington Comic Con 2015 will be back on Saturday October 17th, promising a bigger venue, more comics and big industry names, including Aces Weekly publisher David Lloyd and a host of other great names from the UK inside scene..
As well as the big global comic conventions like NYCC or SDCC there are also loads of great small conventions based in the UK which fans who can’t make a trip across the pond should really check out. Making it’s debut this year is the Leamington Comic Con on October 18th 2014 and to celebrate adding another event great comics date to our diary we caught up with it’s founder Dan Mallier to find out what makes his convention different from all the rest.
