They have also released a version 2.0 of the SEQUENTIAL comics app with a raft of new features (including visual contents and a unique take on double page spreads) as they attempt to compete with the giant that is ComiXology!

Comicker Digital appDigital publisher Comicker LLC have launched their new Comicker Digital iOS app, bringing their diverse line-up of creator-owned series to iPads and iPhones. Free to download the app gives users access to the initial chapters of all current and future series while a monthly subscription of $2.99 unlocks weekly updates of subsequent chapters and exclusive special features before they’re available anywhere else.

Europe ComicsWith European comics now all over ComiXology thanks to their partnership with Delcourt, the doors have been flung open for other Euro publishers to get in on the digital comics revolution. The latest group to bring their books to a worldwide digital audience are the all digital and all European graphic novel initiative, Europe Comics who launched a new website with 10 new titles this week.

The Twilight Children_Cv1DC Comics fans who purchase The Sandman: Overture #6 digitally, are in for a treat when the final issue of Neil Gaiman’s epic prequel is released on September 30th. As well as the final adventure of Dream and co. it will also include an exclusive black and white preview of The Twilight Children the highly anticipated new Vertigo Comics series by the legendary Gilbert Hernandez (Love And Rockets) and Darwyn Cooke (DC: The New Frontier).

Hundred! Demons; Guy Delisle’s Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City; Rutu Modan’s Exit Wounds and Anders Nilsen’s Big Questions available from the cloud giant for the first time.

Well that’s brainchild of Queen creator Jamie Me who has started his own Twitter event every Sunday evening called #​ComicTalk to allow for a weekly gathering of indie comic creators, to discuss a new topic.
