Igle launched the Molly Danger series in 2012 with a Kickstarter campaign for the first book, raising $50,000 dollars and achieving critical and popular success. Igle is now looking to produce a six issue series and you can help!.

Modern PolaxisWeb comic creator Sutu is one of digital comics great mavericks, seamlessly mixing multimedia content with cutting edge graphics and compelling stories in critically acclaimed series like Neomad and NAWLZ. His latest foray into the brave new world of digital comics is an augmented reality series called Modern Polaxis, which he is looking to get funded via Kickstarter. We’ve seen AR before in from Marvel and in the Anomaly graphic novel. but nothing like this. We were keen to find out how this latest venture from Sutu was set to tear through the bleeding edge of comic story-telling and into a whole new place and time so we contacted him to find out more.

Maverick Aussie webcomic creator Sutu, the brains behind award winning webcomics Nawlz and NEOMAD, has launched a Kickstarter for his latest augmented reality series Modern Polaxis. The story features a paranoid time traveller whose world we see via his private journal that is packed full of hidden information that can only be revealed via the AR app.

Back in January we reviewed the brilliant Norwegian anthology Outre Press. The stand out title in their second instalment was Brett Uren’s Torso Bear which was a crime noir featuring teddy bears and kids toys in the lead roles. We described is as ‘Like Raymond Chandler meets Teddy Ruxpin with a generous dose of Robert Crumb” and that we’d love to see a full series of it. Well hopefully that is about to happen as Brett has started a Kickstarter for a full Torsobear anthology called ‘Yarns From Toyburg’ and we hope you can help support it and make it happen.

Last Breath is a Kickstarter funded comic featuring the story of a man trapped 238,900 miles from home with oxygen running short while his planet–and possibly his family–is being torn to shreds before his very eyes. The Kickstarter launched this week with the goal of $5,000 to fund its completion and printing and you can visit the page here.
